2011→2012

2012_small How was your 2011? And have you already decided your goal in 2012? I’ve decided my goals in 2012. I’ll write about them when I have a time.

2011 was a very sad and hard year for Japanese people.  Since March 11 2011, Japanese people’s lifestyle and the way of thinking has changed. Of, course it’s difficult to get over but there is no choice but to handle. However we learned a lot from the disaster, before many people didn’t appreciate stable electricity supply, having unlimited food and goods.

People are smart but on the other hand stupid. When something happen, we take it seriously but little by little we forget it. It’s already 10 month past since we had the massive earthquake. Do you still try to save electricity? Do you still appreciate you can buy food and goods anytime? You did donation while you are throwing food and goods away easily…It’s a contradiction .  The last year many countries helped Japan, but from 2012 Japanese people shouldn’t rely on the other countries anymore! Japanese people all should get to together and tackle many domestic problems and make Japan more beautiful. When we can show that Japan is really reconstructed, this will be the real “Thank you card” to the other countries which helped us!

FYI Japan is one of countries which rely on other countries too much. Without them, we can’t survive. For example, the self-sufficient in food  is just around 40%. ( Switzerland is also around40%)  So 60% we import from other countries such as US, Australia and China.  (For example Us, Spain, France, their self-sufficient in food is more than 100%) But how often do you throw away food? It’s an extreme way to say but we are asking other countries for food and throwing the food away. (Of course, we pay for it)  Isn’t it strange?  It’s really high time to take it very seriously. Before Japan take part in TPP.

Santa Clause/ Nikolaus and Schmutzli

boss-and-ji-ji_small Xmas day we visited Stefan’s parents as every year we do. But this year was different from the last year! Boss could spend time with us! ( Last year he slept most of time…)

He was happy with a Xmas tree which was decorated with red ornaments. (Our one was decorated with lavendar and white ornaments. It’s not attractive colour for children. Sorry Boss!)

After having “fondue chinoise” it’s like Japanese “shabu shabu”. We opened Xmas presents for Boss! Many Santa Clause  must have come to there!

Backpack, xylophone, toys for bath, books, wooden toys und… We had beautiful evening!

FYI   Internationally children are told that a Santa Clause comes to children’s home and put a present in a red stocking in the late night on Xmas day. But here Switzerland is something different.  ”Nikolaus” (Santa Clause) and his partner “Schmutzli” come to children’s home 6th of December and if a child has been good, the Nikolaus give him/her an orange or peanuts. If the child has been bad, the “schmutzli” give him a lash. Wow! When I heard this I was shocked… but generally I prefer Swiss way. I think It’s really educationally good. First of all, Nikolaus gives something simple and healthy. Secondly there is somebody in this case “Schmutzli” for an ill-manner child.

And now I know you want to say ” So Swiss children don’t get any Xmas presents, do they ?”  Swiss children also get presents! But the person who deliver is different. Children are told an angel delivers before Xmas day and the presents are put under the Xmas tree!

Dear Ji-ji, Ba-ba, Nina, Angi and Monica

You are all Boss’s Santa Clauses! No…Angels!! Arigatou.

Xmas Eve

chair_small Xmas became something more special since Boss was born. After having dinner Boss got a present from us! It was a chair!!

Somewhen he will start to draw a picture or write therefore we bought it.

He was very curious but instead of sitting on it, he was pushing it…he needs time!

I’m 30!

birthday-cake_small_2 Finally I’m 30 years old. Some people say they don’t get old but I’m different! I enjoy aging.

When I look back my twenties, it was quiet tough.  Also I had some turning points…especially getting married and living in Switzerland. Only my Swiss family knows that I got serious health problem beginning of  my Swiss life. Even my Japanese families and friends don’t know because I didn’t want make them worried. However, it’s over!

My dream in my thirties is just to stay peaceful.

Well…I wanted to have peaceful my 30th birthday but it was different from I planed.

First of all,  Boss, Stefan and I all supposed to be stay at home in the afternoon. However, we were in hospital ! In the morning Boss cut his mouth. It wasn’t serious, so we wanted to take him to local Dr.  Stefan called him but there was NO answer…then there was no choice but to take him to hospital. Anyway boss didn’t have problem with his teeth. Phew–

Secondly, the weather was very bad. It was like a storm!  Carrying a Xmas tree in the hard rain was not beautiful…

But these weren’t enough to spoil my day! Decorating the Xmas tree was fun and after that  Stefan cooked “beef  stroganoff ” as I requested. It was delicious v(^^)v

Stefan, thank you for the beautiful day!

Birthday Dinner

birthday-dinner_small_0 My birthday is 16th but I went to birthday dinner with Stefan on 15th. The reason is I wanted to spend my birthday with my Boss but I wanted to have relaxing dinner. (Boss stayed at grand parents house. Last time we went out without Boss was last March! Wow it’s  more than 9 months ago.)

Anyway, first we went to shopping, visited Christmas market and had birthday dinner.

It’s  funny after few hours later I said bye-bye to Boss , already I started to miss Boss. I checked my i-phone to see his video and photos…

Since Boss started to eat, I haven’t had  relaxing meal. But this time  Stefan and I had beautiful dinner without being disturbed. However, we both felt somebody was missing. It’s our lovable son!!!! We finished dinner 8 o’clock and picked him up before 9!  Phew…

Even though the weather was very bad, I had a great day with my Stefan.  The food was perfect, especially meat! It’s very soft (^^)v  Moreover I’ve got brilliant presents from Stefan and his parents. Ah—– I can’t wait until February 5th!! Do you want to know what it is? It’s a secret til the day comes. Ushi shi shi—

I’m tooooooooooo happy!!
