Today one of my best friends came to Switzerland to visit me. She is now on long holiday and has traveled around Europe since last week. I’ve known her about 10 years. She is always stay by my side especially when I had a very hard time. She teaches lots of priceless things to me. I wanna, have to learn more from her.
Today was her birthday so we celebrated her birthday with the Champagne at the balcony. When the sun set, we moved to the room and talked a lot. Later when she was relaxing, suddenly Stefan turned off the light and I carried a birthday cake with candles!! We both sang a birthday song for her.
She looked happy and first made a wish then she put out a candle. I wonder what she wished but I really wish her wish is fullfilled!
The weather is so nice these days. And I found a kind of cherry trees while I was taking a walk. I didn’t know and expect to see “sakura” in Switzerland.
So for me it’s like a surprising present. The cherry tree is full blossom at the moment. I could feel Japan a moment.
After looking “sakura” Stefan and I went to Stefan’s parents house. Today we had a Barbecue at the garden. Stefan’s father grilled meat and he is really good at cooking. The meat was tender and medium rare which is my favorite.
I had a very nice dinner today!
Today Stefan and I had a lunch in the balcony because the weather was very beautiful and we both wanted to enjoy the sun.
We had salmon bread and a salad. We enjoyed having the lunch and after that chatting over the coffee. The sunlight is not strong and had a nice breeze. What a peaceful time.
Later we went to for a walk. This is the one of the way to relax which I lernt from Swiss people. Here people are really good at finding ways to relax. While we were waliking, we found a tree which is like a Japanese cherry tree.
And now I’m writing my homepage and Stefan is watching film( Over The Hedge) next to me.
Just one thing is missing to complete this situation. Can you guess?
It’s POPCORN!!!!!
Today is public holiday so Stefan also has day off. But he got a new position of his job and he is busier tahn before and wants to finish some work during Easter holidays. So today we got up 6:30 as usual and went to Stefan’s office together. Of course I can’t help his job and I don’t like to have too long time without nothing to do. So I brought my German study set and PC and books!! And also we decided to have easy and cheap lunch in the office so we brought bread, ham, cheese and so on to make sandwiches.
As soon as we got to his office, we drank cups of coffee to inspire us and then he started his work and I started to study. While Stefan was working, he was very serious….Umm…How can I meke him smile or laugh?
Bing!! Sandwiches make him smile (^o^)v
We had sandwiches as a lunch and again we started to do own stuff. We stayed in the office until 19:30!! He worked very hard and efficiently and I studied and didn’t disturbed Stefan. So we deided to go to a restaurant to eat dinner as a reward. We had seasonal soup( white Asparagus Soup) and Cordon bleu (traditional food in Switzerland) and…of course a glass of wine.
Today we just stayed in the office but strangly we had a full filled day!
From tomorrow Easter holiday’ll be started. Nearly all shops are closed. Everywhere you can find Easter decolations at these time in here. At the cafe where I went to, there were also Easter colores eggs on the each tables. If you wanna eat ,of course you can eat them. But I don’t know I hesitate to eat dark colored eggs…I prefer to eat normal boiled eggs.
When I went to the reception desk in the train station to buy a ticket, even there you can find and taste?! Easter because staffs hand out Easter eggs chocolate to customers who buy a ticket!!
I’ll spend relaxing time during Easter.
