It’s getting cold and also the flowers in the balcony are almost over so I bought some new flowers. I chose yellow and orange. Because from these color, I thought I can get warm imagination!
I’ll overcome hard Swiss Winter with these cute flowers!
My new life in Switzerland
We went to shopping little bit late today because many shops open until 8pm. In Switzerland (Zurich) many shops are closed at 6pm on Saturday. And on Sunday all shops are closed… For Japanese people it’s hard to understand. We think opening Sunday is good for economy which is one of the solutions for the unemployment rate. In my opinion as long as the economy stays bad, the rate of crime is risen. And nowadays not all people want to work between 8am and 8pm. There are many different life styles, I’m sure some people prefer working very late. All people have rights to keep the lowest quality of life as much as possible.
Some people say: Even shops open late they can’t make benefit a lot. I want to say of course!! It’s just started and still the unemployment rate is bit high which means people hesitate to buy many things but the shops can’t keep opening late with the same number of employee like before. So the shops will have to hire some people which means the people get jobs (money) so they’ll use the money. Not in these shops but somewhere else. It’s how economy works. I’m sure later another problem is coming about CO2 (global warming). But just to put aside this CO2 problem. What do you think about this?
The trial to extend opening hours keeps until end of this year(It’s started this month). Then Swiss politicians discuss this thing until………2015? No maybe more… Here it takes soooooooooo long time. I strongly recommend if you want to save money a lot, come and live in Switzerland. Here are less ways to use money!?
Ok let’s stop being critical. I really apologize to Swiss people but it’s what I thought on behalf of Japanese people.
We went to the cinema and watched “Up” from Pixar. It was completely fantastic, better than I expected. Some parts are very cute and funny and some parts are very touching!! What I like the best was the way of using colors.
I still remember beautiful colorful scenes clearly.
Today’s dinner was “rice paper”. When I was in Japan, I sometimes cooked it. But here I can’t find some ingredients easily so I cook very rarely. I brought some ingredients which I can’t find here so I have to use little by little…
“Rice paper” is very easy und yummy food so Stefan like it very much. And he also enjoy choosing things which you put in and rolling.
You can make dipping sauce in your way. I made special sauce with soy sauce.
First you grind sesame seeds. Put 2 spoonful mayonnaise and 1 spoonful soy sause, mix them and later just add the grinded sesame. Finish!! Adjust the taste to your liking. You can use also chili sauce instead of soy sauce!
maki maki (The sound of rolling rice paper)
mogu mogu (The sound of eating)
maki maki…
mogu mogu…
Darling later make popcorn please!
