If you really love flowers, I strongly recommend “keukenhof” in Holland to visit!!!

I’ve been there more than 5 times but still I desire to visit there again.

I can and many people who visited there say all together “Keukenhof is the most beautiful flower park in the world”. It is not too much to say that “Keukenhof” is fantastic, amazing and brilliant!!!!

Everywhere is flower and flower. And one of the best things is good color combination. I feel the Dutch’s talent for flowers and colors.

Not only “keukenhof park” but also other places are beautiful. If you are lucky ( I mean if you visit there just the right time) you can see fields which are coverd with flowers!!

I found a cute flower arrangement in a flower shop in Paris. The arrangement was made of many pink roses.

Soo lovely. French arrangements are Japanese people’s taste. Most of them are arranged with so many flowers and less green.

For example England and Netherland’s styles are based on more green.

(when I studied about flower arrangement in Netherland, my flower teacher said-Japanese people tend to prefer full of flower arrangements to more green arrangements)

Just visiting flower shops, you will know what kind of flower arrangement the people in the country like!

P.S  Sorry I didn’t up date my blog for 2 weeks. The adapter of my computer was broken and I couldn’t use my PC…

My favorite flower is tulip! I don’t know exactly but I love its shape and straight stem.

Today I went to shopping and found many bunchs of tulips. It’s still winter but the tulips brought me feeling of spring.

Red, Pink, Purple, Yellow, White… Which color do you like?

I chose white one!

Time passes so quickly. It’s already November! Just 2 months and 2009 is over!!

I have to little bit push myself to catch up my To Do List 2009.

The tree is in the garden of my parents-in-law. It’s a maple tree! We call it “momiji” in Japanese. I’m so happy to see “momiji” in Switzerland!

In Japan it’s very common that people go to some specific places to see and enjoy “momiji” in Autumn. For example in Kyoto when you visit temples in day time you can enjoy autumn leaves in a normal way but when you visit in the evening you can enjoy the autumn leaves which are illuminated! It’s very fantastic so worth visiting.

Generally temples and shrines are closed at 17 o’clock but in Spring and Autumn are special time. They close also at 17 o’clock and about 2 hours later they open again! This is for tourists to enjoy “sakura” in Spring and “momiji” in Autumn!

It’s getting cold and also the flowers in the balcony are almost over so I bought some new flowers. I chose yellow and orange. Because from these color, I thought I can get warm imagination!

I’ll overcome hard Swiss Winter with these cute flowers!
