Easy Valentine’s Dinner

valentines-dinner_small.jpgvalentines-dinner-2_small.jpgI cooked easy Valentine’s dinner I was going to cook a big dinner but after drawing pictures on the cookies, I was so tired and…so I cooked easy Valentine’s dinner. Sorry…Stefan.

I cooked Stefan’s favorite Japanese potato salad, uncured ham, salmon mini toast, and cream stew and so on…

But I ‘m happy he always eats up my dinner and never complains about my food! He must have been disciplined very well by his parents!

Phew…

cookie-2_small_0.jpgI baked cookies for Stefan on Valentine’s day. This time I had a great motivation to do somethig tiny, so I decided to draw pictures on the cookies.

It was a big fun to do it. Using a toothpick and draw picures little by little!!

What should I cook next time…

La duree Macaron

macaron-box_small.jpgmacarons_small.jpgAfter having  fine breakfast, Stefan bought me “macarons” for me. Not only Macarons but also other sweets were amazing. All sweets were full of novelty ideas but the sweets were still elegant. I felt like I was in an art museum! When you buy Macarons, you can choose a box from many choices. Every box is sooo cute. It’s quite difficult to choose one!!

Now I understand why so many people have attracted by Laduree.  I’m a fan of Laduree (^o^).

When you plan to go to Laduree in Paris, every shop is always crowded and sometimes you have to wait loooooooooong time. So I advise you to go there in early morning!!!

La duree Cafe

laduree-entrance_small.jpgladuree-menu_small.jpgFinally I went to “Laduree” in Paris. I know in Tokyo there are Laduree but I’ve never been to there so I had wanted to go there for a long time.

When I went to there in the afternoon, I couldn’t enter the shop. Too many people and some people ( actually quite a lots of people) had to wait outside.

So on Saturday Stefan and I got up at 7 a.m and went to there to have a breakfast. Because of early time, we didn’t need to wait and we could have breakfast on 1st floor. ( American English is 2nd floor, in Japan we tend to use American English…)

I felt a long history of “Laduree” from the silverware, interior decoration and so on. I was also amazed at the menu book. Even menu book, it was sooooooo cute!!!!!! We had a graceful time there.

I found out next to the Laduree on Champs Elysees, there is a “La duree bar”. Next time I want to visist there with my darling!

Walked and walked…

eiffel129_small.jpgescargot_small.jpgStefan and I tried to find the restaurant where we had first dinner together in Paris.

We both didn’t remember its name only we knew was the area (It’s not so far away from Eiffel Tower)…

When we started finding the restaurant, I had already been hungry. But I really wanted to have dinner with Stefan at the cozy restaurant.

Walked and walked…We checked nearly every street in the area. But we couldn’t find it. After 2 hours we gave up seaching for it any more.

So we went to the restaurant which is also near to Eiffel Tower. The staffs were very kind and friendly so we are pleased with their service. The meals were also good. Stefan was very happy with the escargot!

( I don’t like escargots…I just can’t stand the looking…Sorry, Mr.Escargot!)
